Train

Public transportation is a quick way to travel in Las Vegas, for example, a monorail runs along its many hotels. There is an airport shuttle (see below) from the airport to the Las Vegas railway station. From Las Vegas station it is possible to travel through the whole of America. Car and bus

The airport lies about 8 kilometers from downtown Las Vegas. From the airport you can already see 'The Strip'. Its neon lights direct you straight to the center of town.

Citizen's Area Transit´s transit busses (CAT) (tel. +1(0)702 228 7433) operate the bus services from the airport with services 108 and 109 to the Las Vegas railway station and the Las Vegas Strip. For more information, please visit the bus company website. The bus fare is only USD 1.25. There are also independently operated shuttle busses.

Car rental Las Vegas McCarran Airport

A free shuttle bus (Exit 10 and 11) takes you to the McCarran Rent-a-Car Center. All the major car rental agencies have branches here: Advantage, Alamo/ National, Avis, EasyCar, Budget, Dollar, Hertz, Enterprise, Sixt, Payless, Sav-more and Thrifty. Taxi

Taxicabs are parked on the east side of de arrival hall (Exit 1- 4). The average rate is USD 15.00 per trip, including a 15% tip. Taxi's demand a USD 1.20 additional charge from the airport. You can book a taxi with several taxi companies, such as Checker/Yellow/Star (tel. +1(0)702 873 2000) or Dessert Cab (tel. +1(0)702 736 8000).

Parking at the airport

There are several parking options at McCarran. Short term, long term and valet parking. Each option has been assigned its own color. For dropping off and picking up passengers, please follow the yellow signs. The red signs are for short term (paid) parking (max. 3 hours) and valet parking. The green signs are for long term parking and the pink ones for economy long term parking. There are shuttle busses running to and from long term (economy) parking.
