Local transport

Train

The train from the train station in T3 goes to Tel Aviv in 12 minutes. The train goes every 20 minutes, except during Sabbath (Friday afternoon until Saturday evening). For more information about timetables or prices, please visit the Israeli Railways website or contact (tel. +972 (0)3611 7000).

Car and bus

The airport is located about 15 kilometers south east of Tel Aviv and about 50 kilometers from Jerusalem. The airport is situated directly on Highway 1, which goes from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

There several busses (Egged) going to Airport City near the terminals (busses 249, 423, 475, 930, 943, 947 and 950). From Airport City there is a shuttle bus service (bus 5) going to the airport. If you already have your plane ticket, then this shuttle bus is for free. Bus 239 from Ramla and Lod goes to T3. Car rental Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport

There are several car rental agencies at the airport: Avis, Eldan, Budget, Hertz and Sixt. You can also book a rental car in advance at EasyTerra, this website compares prices of multiple car rental agencies simultaneously.

Taxi

There are a taxi stand and a taxi desk at T3 (Level G) that arranges transportation by taxi. It is recommended to take official taxis. A taxi ride to Tel Aviv costs about NIS 150.00 per person. It is also possible to share a taxi van (sherut) with other passengers, this costs about NIS 50.00 per person to the holy city.

Parking at the airport

At the airport it is possible to park short term (up to NIS 130.00 per day) near the terminals. The long term parking facilities (up to NIS 35.00 per day) are a little further away from the terminals. A free shuttle runs between T3 and long term parking (tel. +972(0)3 972 3339).
