Hotels

There are no hotels at the airport, but the Shanghai International Airport Hotel (Tel. +86(0)21 6268 8888) is very close. Other hotels nearby the airport include the Hengshan Hotel (Tel. +86(0)21 6437 7050), Hilton Shanghai Airport (Tel. +86(0)21 6248 0000) and Hotel Equatorial Shanghai (Tel. +86(0)21 6248 1688). Shops and restaurants

Both terminals offer a good range of restaurants, coffee shops, cafés and (snack) bars. Inside the terminals you'll find mainly duty-free shops, but just outside the entrance there's a large shopping center offering a variation of shops, including typical Chinese merchandise like silk clothing and beautifully decorated baubles.

Baggage

There are several lockers to store your baggage. There's a lost-and-found counter (Tel. +86(0)21 5114 2071) in the Arrivals Hall. You can also hire porters at fixed rates.

Information

You'll find information desks scattered around the terminals for inquiries about the airport, services and flight schedules. You can also get information about flight schedules by telephone via +86(0)21 6268 8918. At the Tourist Office (Tel. +86(0)21 6439 0630) you can get information about places to see in and around Shanghai.

Business

There are three small business centers at the airport, one in Terminal 1 and two in Terminal 2, with faxes, photocopiers and computers with internet access. There are also some VIP lounges. More extensive business facilities, including meeting space and conference rooms, are offered by the Shanghai International Hotel (see Hotels).

Disabled facilities

Shanghai Hongqiao Airport has good accessibility for the disabled. There are wheelchair ramps and adapted elevators and toilets.

Other services

You'll find various banks, exchange offices and ATM's scattered around the two terminals. There's also a post office in each terminal. Both terminals have a First Aid station which can be reached via one of the many telephones of the information desk. Internet access is available via the internet kiosks or via Wi-Fi.
