Toulouse-Blagnac Airport (TLS)

The airport in Toulouse is officially called Aéroport Toulouse-Blagnac and is the busiest airport in the Languedoc in southwestern France. Six million passengers per year use this airport. It also processes a large amount of freight and cargo. It is the fifth busiest airport in France after Paris-CDG, Nice, Lyon and Marseille.

Local transport

Train

There is no train connection with the airport.

Car and bus

The airport is eight kilometers northwest of Toulouse. To reach the centre of the city from the airport you follow the Allée de Barcelone in the direction of Bordeaux, Aux and Blagnac. Take the exit to Bordeaux (A620-E9). You exit this road at exit 31 in the direction of Blagnac (A621). Then you follow the signs to exit 2 to Aéroport Blagnac and Grenade (right lane). Then you are on the D901. The airport is at exit 4.

You can find busses by Exit C (tel: +33 (0)5 62 72 37 23) that leave every 20 minutes to the bus station in Toulouse. Stops on the way are Allées Jean Jaurès, Place Jeanne d’Arc and Centre Compans Caffarelli.

A direct bus to he mini state of Andora leaves two times per day (10:00 and 18:30) from the company Novatel Autocars (tel +33(0)3 7680 3789). These busses stop along the way in Pas-de-la-Case, Soldeu, Canillo and Encamp.

Car rental Toulouse-Blagnac Airport

In the Arrivals Hall you can rent autos from the companies Ada, Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, National/Citer and Sixt. You can also reserve a rental car in advance using the service EasyTerra provides. They compare the rates of several providers in a single quote.

Taxi

The taxi stand is in front of the Arrivals Hall by Exit C. All taxis have meters. A ride to the centre of Toulouse takes about 10 minutes and costs around € 15.00.

Airport Parking

There are five parking areas. P0 and P1 are intended for short term parking (max. 24 hours). The first 30 minutes are free. P2, P3 and P5 are for long term parking. A free shuttle bus goes to the terminal from P2 and P5.

Shops and restaurants

The Toulouse Airport has a large offering of shops, restaurants and bars. The largest shopping area can be found on the first floor of the Departures Hall, but there are shops accessible for everyone in the front part of the airport. You can find among other stores an art gallery. Besides seven snack bars and cafes there are two restaurants: “L'Horizon” and “Le Pré Carré”.

In Hall 2 you can find the general information counter (tel: +33(0)5 6142 4400) where you can inquire about flight times, delays etc.

Business

The airport has a business centre (tel: +33(0)5 6142 4513) with fax, copying and computer facilities. There are also a few meeting rooms (max. 35 persons). The VIP lounges from various airlines also offer computers with internet connection. The larger hotels in the area of the hotel offer extensive conference and meeting facilities.

The “La croix du Sud” lounge is accessible for € 17.00 (tel: +33(0)8 2538 0000).

Handicapped persons

The airport is very accessible for handicapped persons. There are wheelchair ramps and adapted elevators and restrooms. There are over 50 parking places reserved for handicapped persons and a mini bus that goes to the terminal that is available for wheelchair users.

Other services

There are banks, money exchange offices and cash machines in the terminal building. There is also a First Aid station.
