Local transport

Train

Subway line 1 connects the airport with Brasília's center. Trains run every 20 minutes.

Car and bus

The airport is situated 11 kilometers south of the Brazilian capital. Brasília Airport is easily accessible by rental car: freeways DF-002 and DF-003 lead from the city to the DF-047 which leads to the airport. The way to the airport is clearly signposted.

City bus 102 takes thirty minutes from Brasília Airport to the city center. Smaller busses (lines 30 and 11) run to the central bus station. Long-distance busses run from that bus station to various destinations in Brazil.

Car rental Brasília Airport

Eight car rental companies are present at Brasília Airport. You can rent a car from the international companies Avis, Budget and Hertz, or from the local providers Interlocadora, Localiza, Locar Alpha, Movida and Unidas at the counter in the Arrival Hall. You can also book a rental car in advance using the service provided by EasyTerra; they compare the rates of several providers in a single quote.

Taxi

There are long lines of taxis outside the Arrivals Hall. Make sure the driver turns on the meter or agree on a clear price upfront. A ride from Brasília Airport to the city center will cost approximately 30 real and takes about 15 minutes.

Airport Parking

There's a large parking lot outside the terminal, which can accommodate more than a thousand cars. You pay 5 real for the first hour, 3 real for the second hour and then 1 real per hour. The day rate is the sum of these amounts: 31 real.
