Local transport


At the moment, there is no connection to Denver Airport, but it is planned for 2015, when the airport will connect to Denver's Union Station.

Car and bus

The airport is located 37 kilometers to the northeast of Denver on Peña Boulevard. From the east of Denver, follow the I-70. The exit to the airport is clearly indicated. You can also reach Peña Boulevard via Turnpike E-470 or Airport Boulevard in Aurora.

Buses from RTD Skyride (tel: +1(0)303 299 6000) also depart from level 5, on the east side of the terminal building, where there is also a desk that provides information about transportation from the airport to Denver and other destinations (tel: +1(0)303 342 4059).

Car rental - Denver International Airport

At level 5 of the terminal building you will find the desks for car rental companies: Advantage, Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, Payless and Thrifty. You can also book a rental car in advance at EasyTerra, which offers a comparison of several providers. Shuttle buses take you to and from the rental cars.


Outside the Arrivals Hall, there are plenty of Denver Yellow Cabs (tel: +1(0)303 777 7777), Freedom Cabs (tel: +1(0)303 444 4444) and Metro Taxi (tel: +1(0)303 336 9127).

Airport Parking

Denver Airport offers extensive parking facilities, at an hourly rate of $3.00. In the East and West car parks, the hourly rate is $2.00 and the daily rate is $18.00. At the long-term parking areas (Economy Lots) the hourly rate is $1.00 and the daily rate is $9.00. On the airport's website you can get information about available parking spaces.
