Hotels

There are no hotels at the airport. The nearest hotel is the Angelo Airport Hotel (tel: +40(0)21 203 6500). In addition there is also: the Hotel Charter Otopeni Airport which was opened in 2006, the RIN Hotel and the Confort Hotel (tel: +40(0)21 350 4110) right by the airport.

There is a welcome counter in the Baggage Hall for travelers that have a room reserved with Marriott, Intercontinental or Hilton. For more hotels and to reserve online you can go to Booking.com, they have a large range of hotels with great internet rates.

Shops and restaurants

There are a few snack bars and restaurants in the International Departures Hall, there are also several machines for coffee, tea, soft drinks and snacks. The range of shops is modest, this includes a wine shop, there is also a shop that sells Romanian souvenirs.

Baggage

There are windows for lost and found items in the Baggage Hall. In both terminals there are information counters which are also accessible through the telephone numbers (tel: +40(0)21 204 1200) and (tel: +40(0)21 204 1210).

Business

The VIP lounge offers business facilities such as fax, copying and internet. Information is through the general telephone number. Extensive facilities and meeting rooms are available in the Golden Tulip Sky Gate Hotel (see Hotels).

Disabled facilities

The airline is very accessible for the disabled. There are wheelchair ramps, adapted elevators and restrooms.

Other services

There is a bank (Romanian Bank for Development) and in the International Arrivals Hall and Departure Hall there are ATM's and money exchange offices. There is a post office in the International Departures Hall. There is an internet café on the first level of the Departures Hall. Furthermore, there is a hairdresser and a pharmacy. In the Departures Hall and in the Arrivals Hall there are special telephones where you can directly request First Aid.
