Grenoble Airport is also called Isère or St. Geoirs airport, after its location. Grenoble is a favorite starting point for winter sports. Near Grenoble, there are three major ski resorts: Isère, Savoie and Haute- Savoie. Annually, the airport handles about half a million passengers.

Car and bus
The airport is located approximately 45 kilometers from downtown Grenoble and 85 kilometers from Lyon. From Grenoble take the A48 to Lyon and Voiron. Next, take exit (9) Rives/Grenoble Airport. Follow the road signs to the airport.
There is a bus service between the airport and downtown Grenoble and Lyon. Tickets are available inside the terminal at the bus service desk (opposite the baggage claim). Parking at the airport
The parking facilities are located opposite the terminal. The first fifteen minutes are free. Up to 3 hours of parking costs EUR 7.00, up to 24 hours EUR 13.00 and up to 11 days EUR 45.00. It is also possible to buy a seasonal ticket for 3 months (EUR 175.00) or one year (EUR 480.00).
