Train

The train station is connected with Terminal 2. It takes you about half an hour to get from the airport to Singapore's center. More information on the website of Singapore Metro Rail Transport.

Car and bus

The airport is situated 20 kilometers northeast of Singapore's center. The airport is easily accessible by rental car via the East Coast Parkway. It's a toll road for which you need to pay electronically. The car rental companies at the airport sell the necessary chip cards.

Bus 36 connects the airport with the city center. The bus stops at Terminals 1, 2 and 3. The journey takes about an hour. At the Ground Transportation Centre in the Arrivals Hall of Terminal 1 you can get information about all means of transport to and from the airport.

Rental company Avis has counters in all terminals; Hertz is only present in Terminals 2 and 3. You can also book a rental in advance using the service provided by EasyTerra; they compare the rates of several providers in a single quote.

Taxi

You can find taxis 24 hours a day outside the Arrivals Hall. You can also choose to share a taxi, the so-called Maxi Cabs. These maintain shuttle connections between Singapore Airport and hotels in the city.

Airport Parking

There are several parking facilities at Singapore Airport. There are parking lots near Terminals 1 and 3 and near Terminal 2 you'll find a large parking garage which can accommodate 2,600 cars. The number of parking places near the Budget Terminal is limited.
