Shops and restaurants
Tokyo Narita Airport offers a large range of shops, restaurants, cafés and (snack) bars. Of course you have a large choice of Chinese and Japanese specialties, but you'll also find Western food at Narita Airport, at for example the Avion Restaurant on the fourth floor of Terminal 1 or the Blue Sky café on the third floor of Terminal 2. The best shops are located before check-in; the so-called duty-free shops behind customs are quite expensive.
You can deposit your baggage at several locations in the Arrivals Halls of both terminals, and in the Departure Hall of Terminal 2. For a suitcase of normal dimensions you pay 500 yen per day. You can also find baggage lockers in the Departure Halls.
You can find information desks (Tel. +81(0)4 7634 8000) on all floors of both terminals; they can be easily recognized by the big question mark on the pillar.
On the top floor of Terminal 1 you'll find the Business Travel Support Counter (Tel. +81(0)4 7630 0035), open from 07.00 until 21.00. Here you can copy, fax and use the internet. The VIP Lounges are also located here.
Hotels around the airport, such as Hotel Tobu and the Hilton Narita Airport (see Hotels), offer extensive business facilities, including meeting and conference rooms.
Tokyo Narita Airport has excellent accessibility for the disabled. There are adapted toilets, bathrooms and elevators, accessible for wheelchairs. Parking places have also been reserved for disabled travelers for which you only pay half the normal price. Free wheelchairs are available at any information desk.
The entire airport is equipped with wireless internet and there are also places to charge your laptop. You can also find pc's with internet connection for which you pay 100 yen per 10 minutes. Narita Airport offers a lot of facilities: there are day rooms with showers to freshen up, hairdressers, massage parlors, a dry cleaner's, children's playgrounds, banks, exchange offices and ATM's. There are also special smoking rooms.
