Hotels

There is no hotel on the airport premises. The nearest hotel is the Leela Kempinski Hotel which is 1.5 kilometers from Terminal 2 and 7 kilometers from Terminal 1 (tel: +91(0)22 6691 1234). Other hotels near the airport include: Orchid Ecotel (tel: +91(0)22 2616 4040) and the Midland Hotel Mumbai (tel: +91(0)22 2611 0414). All these hotels have free shuttle bus connections to the airport. In the Arrivals Hall, there is a hotel reservation desk. For more hotels and to reserve online, visit Booking.com, they offer a wide range of hotels at very reasonable internet rates.

Shopping and restaurants

Mumbai Airport has a reasonable number of shops, restaurants, snack bars and cafés. This will probably improve when the work on the terminal is completed.

Baggage

At the Baggage Handling Department, there is a lost and found counter, where you can also store your baggage.

Information

There is a general information desk in the Arrivals Hall, in addition, there are desks that provide information on attractions and places to see in and around Mumbai.

Business

In the Departure Hall, there is a business center with limited facilities, a fax, computers with internet access and a shoe polishing machine. The nearby Leela Kempinski Hotel (see under Hotels) provides more extensive business facilities, including meeting rooms, conference halls and a catering service.

Disabled facilities

Mumbai Airport is reasonably accessible for the disabled. There are modified elevators and toilets, and wheelchair slopes. For assistance, contact the information desks. In Terminal 2A, there is a separate lounge for wheelchair users, near Gate 2.

Other services

There are exchange offices, ATM's and post offices in both terminals. Wireless internet is available (for free). In Terminals 2A and 1B, there are First Aid stations that are manned 24 hours a day.
