Bergen Airport Flesland lies approximately 20 kilometers south of Bergen. It is both a civil airport and a military airbase. As Norway's second airport it handles approximately 5 million passengers per year. Its most important domestic connection is Oslo, but it also offers international airline and chartered services.

The airport has a helicopter terminal and a passenger terminal with 11 movable passenger bridges. International flights are on the south side, domestic flights on the north side. Bergen Airport is Norway's most expensive airport. A bottle of water and a cookie will set you back at least EUR 10.00.
