Hotels

There are no hotels at or around Quito Airport. The nearest hotels are Best Western Casino Plaza‎ (Tel. +593(0)2 244 5305) and the simple Hotel Sandmelis (Tel. +593(0)2 246 1225). Other hotels in Quito include Le Parc Hotel‎ (Tel. +593(0)2 227 6800), Hotel Akros (Tel. +593(0)2 243 0600), Dann Carlton Hotel (Tel. +593(0)2 224 9008) and the Marriot‎ (Tel. +593(0)2 297 2000).‎ For more hotels and to book online, you can go to Booking.com. They offer a large range of hotels, at competitive internet rates.

Shops and restaurants

There are some restaurants, (snack) bars and shops at Quito Airport, but the number isn't overwhelming. Apart from a duty-free shop you'll mainly find souvenir shops.

Baggage

You cannot store your baggage at Quito Airport. You can inquire about lost objects at the information desk.

Information

In the Departure Hall of both the international and domestic terminals there's an information desk for inquiries about flight schedules and airport services. The Tourist Office counter can be found in the Arrivals Hall of the international terminal.

Business

Apart from a VIP lounge offering basic facilities such as faxing, copying and internet access Quito Airport doesn't offer any business facilities. Meeting space, conference rooms and extensive business centers can be found in for example the Best Western Hotel, Hotel Le Parc and the Marriott Hotel (see Hotels).

Disabled facilities

Quito Airport has good accessibility for the disabled. There are wheelchair ramps, adapted toilets and low-hanging telephones.

Other services

There are money exchange offices in the international terminal and ATM's in both terminals. The Sucre used to be Ecuador's currency, but they changed to the US$ in 2000. ATM's and exchange offices therefore give US$. The First Aid station can be reached via the information desk or the general telephone number +593(0)2 294 4900.
