Local transport

Train

The train station is underground and is accessible by an elevator from all terminals. You can ride the Arlanda Express for SEK 200 and you will be in the heart of Stockholm in 20 minutes. Trains also leave from the airport to other destinations, including Uppsala, Göteborg and Trondheim in Norway.

Car and bus

The airport is along the highway E4 that connects Stockholm with Uppsala. The exit to the airport is clearly indicated.

There are stops for buses in front of terminals 2, 4 and 5. The special shuttle bus Flygbussarna connects the airport with the center of the Swedish capital, this bus leaves every ten minutes. Bus line 583 goes to Märsta Train Station, where trains leave to the Central Station in Stockholm.

For Uppsala you take bus line 801 from Upplands Lokaltrafik which leaves every 20 minutes during the day.

Car rental - Stockholm Arlanda Airport

There are counters for car rental companies: Avis, Europcar and Hertz. You can also reserve a rental car in advance using the service EasyTerra provides, they compare the rates of several providers in a single quote.

Taxi

In T4 there is a kiosk from Flygtaxi (tel: +46(0)8 593 604 70). All taxis are obligated to charge a fixed price for rides from the airport to the center of Stockholm, the price is approximately SEK 450, and the ride takes around 40 minutes.

Airport Parking

There are open-air parking places by all terminals, for short-term parking the rate is SEK 40–60 per hour. There are parking garages by terminals 2, 4 and 5, and by Sky City, the rate is SEK 50-60 per hour. Long-term parking costs SEK 100 per day and SEK 50 per day from the fifth day. There is a shuttle bus that goes from these parking areas to the terminals. Further information about parking through (tel: +46(0)8 797 6670).
