There are no trains operating in Fuerteventura.

Car and bus

The main road FV-1 goes directly from the capital Puerto del Rosario to the airport.

The most important bus, line 3 goes from Puerto del Rosario via the airport to the tourist destination Caleta de Fuste, the bus leaves every 30 minutes. Line 10 goes less frequently from the capital via the airport to Morro Jable. This goes every hour. Many places are accessible from the bus station in Puerto del Rosario.

Car rental - Fuerteventura Airport

You can find the following car rental companies in the Arrivals Hall: Autos Reisen, Avis, Cicar and Hertz. You can also reserve a rental car in advance using the service EasyTerra provides, they compare the rates of several providers in a single quote.


Taxis stand in a long line right in front of the Arrivals Hall. Prices are given on a board to popular destinations, for an indication: Parque Holandes costs €20.00, Oliva Beach and Tres Islas costs €30.00, Caleta de Fuste costs €9.00 and Tarajelejo costs €42.00.


There are approximately 1,200 parking places. The first half hour is free, and you pay €0.40 for the second half hour, then parking costs €0.75 per hour with a maximum of €7.50 per day, from the sixth day it costs €6.00.
