Train
No trains operate in the Canary Islands.
Car and bus
The airport is along the main road on the island, GC1, which goes to the south from Las Palmas. The exit to the airport is clearly indicated.
Buses leave from the bus station to several destinations in Gran Canaria. Bus line 60 goes to the capital Las Palmas (Parque de San Catalina and Parque de San Telmo), bus line 66 goes to Faro de Maspalomas. Further information with the bus company Global (tel: +34(0)902 381 110).
Car rental - Gran Canaria Airport
In the Arrivals Hall, between Zones A and B, there are counters from car rental companies: Auto Reisen, Avis, Cicar, Europcar/Betacar, Hertz and Record. You can also reserve a rental car in advance using the service EasyTerra provides, they compare the rates of several providers in a single quote.
Taxi
Taxis are outside the Arrivals Hall (tel: +34(0)928 703 800), and all of them have a meter. An indication of the prices: Las Palmas de Gran Canaria costs €20.00, Playa del Inglés costs €28.00, Maspalomas costs €32.00 and Puerto de Mogán costs €50.00.
Airport Parking
There are approximately 1,500 parking places in total. The first half hour of parking is free, the second half hour costs €0.50, then €0.90 per hour with a maximum of €9.00 per day, from the fifth day you pay €7.20 per day.
