Turin Caselle Airport

Turin Airport is also called Caselle Airport, after its location in the northwest Italian region of Piemonte. Its official name is Aeroporto Sandro Pertini, after a popular Italian president. The airport has one terminal and handles about 3.5 million passengers annually. Many winter sport enthusiasts choose this airport as a start to their holiday in the Alps.

Train

The train station is located at 150 meters from the terminal. Every 30 minutes there is a train that leaves for the GTT Dora station of Turin. After that, you can take a bus to the center of town. The train takes 20 minutes, a one way ticket 'Trenibus' (including bus) costs EUR 3.00 and a day pass EUR 6.00. Car and bus

The airport lies about 15 km north of Turin. You can easily get to the center of Turin from the ring at Caselle, which leads to Turin and other towns in the Piemonte. For instance, the autostrada A4 to Milan and Venice, the A5 to Saint Vincente and Courmayeur, the A32 to Sauze d´Ouix and Sestriere, the  A55 to Pinerolo, the A6 to Alba and Savona or the A21 to Asti and Genua.

From the bus station, busses leave regularly for downtown Turin. The bus makes several stops, for instance at the Porta Nuova train station and Porta Susa, Via Borgaro, Borgaro and the center of Caselle. The bus goes to the city in 40 minutes for EUR 5.50. Bus tickets are for sale at the tourist agency, the kiosk, in the departure hall at the ticket machine or on the bus (surcharge EUR 0.50). Parking at the airport

There is a parking garage in front of the terminal entrance. It has 6 levels and 2500 parking spaces. 2 hours of parking costs EUR 7.00, one day EUR 22.00. P3 and P7 are outdoors parking areas near the terminal. P3 only has 28 parking spaces and is meant for dropping off and picking up passengers. The first half an hour is free, after that it costs EUR 5.00.

P7 has 190 parking spaces for short term parking. Here too, the first half an hour is for free, two hours will cost EUR 4.00 and one day EUR 10.00. P9 is the best economy parking option. 2 hours cost EUR 4.00 and one day EUR 8.00. P10 has 160 long term parking spaces. 4 days of parking costs EUR 26.00 and every day extra costs EUR 4.00.
