Hotels

There are two hotels at the airport. A shuttle bus goes to the Hilton London Stansted (tel: +44(0)1279 680 800). The new Radisson SAS Hotel is accessible in two minutes from the terminal in a covered walkway. There is a counter in the Arrivals Hall for making hotel reservations (tel: +44(0)1279 661 220). For more hotels and to reserve online you can go to Booking.com, they have a large range of hotels with great internet rates.

Shops and restaurants

There is a large range of restaurants, bars, cafés and shops at Stansted Airport for both visitors and travelers.

Baggage

In the Arrivals Hall there is an office to store baggage (tel: +44(0)1279 663 213) up to 6 hours costs £4.00 per suitcase, 6-24 hours £4.50 per suitcase and £4.50 per day thereafter. The office for lost and found items (tel: +44(0)1279 663 293) can be found in Zone G next to the Monsoon store.

Information

There is an information counter in the Arrivals Hall, there you can inquire about arrival and departure times and public transportation. You can also make copies and send and receive faxes. Special telephones throughout the whole terminal are directly connected with the information counter.

Business

The United Business Center (tel: +44(0)870 049 3333) is close to the terminal, there are offices and meeting rooms for 2-30 people, equipped with broadband internet, telephone and fax, secretarial support is also available.

Other business facilities can be found in the hotels at the airport. The Hilton Hotel offers larger meeting rooms for up to 300 people and the Radisson SAS Hotel has 26 rooms which can be connected together for a maximum of 400 people.

The Servisair Executive Lounge is accessible for all passengers (Economy Class passengers must pay for entrance).

Disabled facilities

The airport is completely accessible for the disabled. There are wheelchair ramps, adapted restrooms, elevators and telephones, furthermore, the airport has induction loops and text telephones. There are reserved parking places close to the terminal for the disabled.

Be advised, all trains are adapted for wheelchair users but most buses to and from Stansted Airport are not!

Other services

You can call for First Aid through special telephones (see Information). There are various ATM's, money exchange offices and banks. Wireless internet is present throughout the terminal, there are also a few computers with internet connection. In addition there is a silence center.
