Train

Thanks to the high speed train TGV and regional trains of the RER, Paris Charles de Gaulle has excellent rail connections with Paris, the rest of France, and some other European capitals. The train station can be found in terminal 2. The departure times of the trains can be found on the information board at baggage handling.

Car and bus

The airport is located 23 kilometers northeast of Paris along highway A1 (exit 6 ‘Aéroport Paris-Charles de Gaulle’). You can also reach the airport via the A3 from Porte de Bagnolet (exit 3 connects to the A1, the airport is clearly indicated on the signs).

A shuttle bus leaves every 15 minutes from Place de l’Opéra in Paris (corner of Rue Scribe and Rue Auber) to the airport. The average travel time lies between 45 and 60 minutes. There are also mini buses between the airport and Paris, seats can be reserved at: (tel: +33(0)1 4418 3602).

You can find counters of car rental companies (Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, National en Sixt) in all terminals. You can also reserve a rental car in advance using the services provided by EasyTerra,they compare the rates of several providers in a single quote.

Taxi

A taxi to the centre of Paris costs about €50.00 (day rate). There is also a limousine service that can bring you to the centre of Paris at a fixed rate. These limousines can be reserved through Aéroports Limousine (tel: +33(0)1 4071 8462).

Airport parking

There are parking garages for short term parking close to all terminals. The Holiday Car Park (Parc Vacances) is intended for long term parking (€120 for 8 to 13 days, €175 for 14 to 30 days). There are two other parking lots, Px and Pr, for long term parking (next to hotel Sofitel). Both cost €15.00 per day. There is a shuttle bus between the parking lots and the various terminals.
