Train

There is no train connection with the airport yet. It is not known when the planned rail connection (see introduction) will be completed.

Car and bus

The airport is 14 kilometers southwest of Zagreb.

The bus station is right in front of the exit of the International Arrivals Hall. Every half hour between 07:00 and 20:00 a bus goes to the central bus station (Autobusni kolodvor) in Zagreb. Outside of these times, buses run in connection with arriving and departing airplanes. The travel time to the center of Zagreb is approximately 25 minutes, a ticket costs HRK 30.00. Car rental - Zagreb Airport

There are counters for many car rental companies including: Adria Rent, An Nova, Avis, Europcar, Hertz, National/Alamo, Thrifty, Uni Rent and Sixt. You can also reserve a rental car in advance using the service EasyTerra provides, they compare the rates of several providers in a single quote.

Taxi

Taxis are in front of the Arrivals Hall (tel: +385(0)1 660 0671). The starting rate is officially HRK 19.00, and then you pay HRK 7.00 per kilometer and HRK 3.00 for baggage. You can easily pay HRK 200.00 or more for a ride to the center of Zagreb. Clearly agree to a price before you get in. Between 22:00 and 05:00 and on Sundays and bank holidays there is a 20% extra charge.

Airport Parking

The number of parking places at Zagreb Airport is limited, there are three parking areas with a total number of places for only 550 cars. For P1 and P3 you pay HRK 10.00 per hour, for P2 you pay HRK 7.00 per hour. Information about parking is available at (tel: +385(0)1 456 2456).
