Local transport

Train

There is no direct train going to the airport. There is a shuttle bus service from the airport to Brussels's most important train station (Brussels South) leaving every 30 minutes. For more information please visit the Belgian Railways website (tel. +32(0)2528 2828).

Car and bus

The airport lies approximately 46 kilometers from downtown Brussels. It is located near the motorways A54 and E42 (exit 24). The road signs indicate the airport as Aerogard- Airport Brussels- South.

There is a regular bus service between Brussels and Charleroi. Bus service A goes from the airport to Charleroi South. A one way trip costs EUR 2.50. Only at the airport it is possible to buy a 'billet bulk'. This is a ticket for both the bus to Charleroi South and the train to any station in Belgium.

Twice per hour there is a shuttle bus service from the airport to Brussels' most important train station (Brussels South). It will take you to Brussels in one hour. A one way trip by shuttle bus costs EUR 13.00, a return trip EUR 22.00. The bus stop is located at the intersection of 'Frankrijkstraat' and 'Onderwijsstraat'. Tickets are for sale inside the terminal, but are also available online.

Taxi

Taxicabs are available in front of the terminal. You can book a taxi with several companies such as Sympatax (tel. +32(0)71 303 033) and Rapidtaxi (tel. +32(0)71 315 555).

Parking at the airport

The parking is operated by Q-Park (tel. +32(0)2 711 1768), you can choose from short and long term parking. Express parking (very short term parking) and Airport parking for short term parking. There are several options for long term parking: Airport parking, Low Cost parking and LockPark parking.
