Vietnam's largest airport is officially called Tan Son Nhat International Airport. As the airport is enclosed by buildings and there's no space for expansion, a new airport is being built, 40 kilometers northeast of Ho Chi Minh City. This airport, Long Thanh International Airport, is expected to process its first passengers in 2015.
