Dubai International Airport
Dubai International Airport is the Middle East's busiest passenger airport. Yearly, Dubai handles approximately 38 million passengers. For many travelers to the Middle East and Africa, Dubai is an important stopover. In addition to many travelers, Dubai handles millions of tons of cargo annually.
The airport has four terminals, one cargo and three passenger terminals. Terminals 1 and 3 are connected. Terminal 3 is exclusively used by the airline Emirates. Terminal 2 is separated from the other terminals and is mainly used for regional chartered flights. A shuttle service runs to and from terminal 2.

There is a metro station in T3. It goes to several locations in the city and to Jumeirah Beach. Union Square is the name of the station in the old town and Deira.
Car and bus
The airport is located approximately 4 kilometers south east of downtown Dubai. The Airport Road runs right along the airport to the center in a southeasterly direction.
Luxury buses (Dubai International Airport Buses) to downtown Dubai and several hotels leave in front of terminals 1 and 2. The city busses 4, 11, 15, 33, 44 leave from T1 to the center. Bus service 2 leaves from T2.
Car rental Dubai International Airport
The car rental agencies are located in T1: A Sia, Autolease, Budget, Continental, Diamond Lease, Dollar, Europcar, Hertz, Patriot, National, Sixt, Thrifty and United Car. Taxicabs are available in front of terminals 1, 2 and 3 (with meters).
Parking at the airport
All terminals at Dubai Airport have short and long term parking facilities. Parking for one day costs between AED 140.00 to AED 560.00

Shopping and dining
In the terminals there are many shops, restaurants and (snack) bars.
Several lounges offer luggage storage services.
Information desks are located throughout the airport. T1 has a DTCM Tourist Kiosk for tourist information.
The Connect Business Center is located at Dubai International Hotel at the airport. There are several meeting rooms and a conference room with all imaginable facilities available. In addition to Connect, the airport also has the Global Link Business Center near gate 16 at the departure lounge. The Global link Business Center has work stations with internet access, amongst others.
A special VIP service (Al Majlis) can accompany travelers in luxury at the airport. There are many lounges with internet access located at the terminals.
Access for disabled people
Dubai International Airport has wheelchair ramps and adapted elevators and toilets. At the departure hall (in between rows A and B) there are desks for disabled travelers (tel. +971(0)2 162 016).
All terminals have banks, exchange offices and ATMs. A doctor service is available on terminal 1's ground floor, next to gate 13. In addition to this, the airport has a children's play room, a relaxation room for women, 4 prayer rooms (separate rooms for men and women). There is a health club with a pool and fitness and massage facilities. There are special organized tours for students.
