Milas Bodrum International Airport
Milas Bodrum Airport is the gateway for tourist resorts near Bodrum on Turkey's southwest coast. That's why hardly anybody calls the airport by its full name, but simply Bodrum Airport. The airport processes three million passengers a year, mainly during the summer months when many charter flights from European countries land at the airport. The number of travelers is growing and therefore a new terminal has become operational at the end of 2011.

Car and bus
The airport is situated 36 kilometers northeast of the seaside resort Bodrum and 16 kilometers south of Milas. The airport is easily accessible by rental car. From Bodrum you follow the freeway to Milas (D330). The exit to the airport is clearly signposted. Traveling from the airport to Bodrum takes about 45 minutes; to Milas 20 minutes.
The company Havas maintains a shuttle bus service between the airport and some popular hotels in Bodrum.

There's an open-air parking lot outside the terminal. There are no separate places for long-term parking; nobody leaves his car here at night.

There are a limited number of restaurants and (snack) bars at Bodrum Airport. The number of shops is also small: the usual articles in the duty-free shop and some souvenir shops.
You cannot store your baggage at Bodrum Airport. At the baggage claim area there's a lost-and-found counter.
