Malé International Airport
The international airport of the Maldives used to be known as Hulhulé Airport, after the island. End 2010 the airport was privatized. A consortium, in which Malaysia Airports Berhad plays a significant role, will give the airport facilities a face-lift. A new terminal will also be built. The entire project needs to be completed in 2014.
