Dublin Airport
Dublin Airport (DUB)

Dublin Airport is a fast growing airport. Almost 18.5 million passengers were processed in 2005, and in 2006 the number will exceed 20 million. This growth has coincided with economic rise in Ireland since the beginning of the 90s. The airport has had to keep up with the growing number of passengers, so there are almost always construction activities at the Dublin Airport. At this moment work is being done on the building of a second terminal building which will be completed in 2009. Extra check-in counters have been temporarily set up in the basement of the Departures Hall.

The airport is ten kilometers north of the Irish capital is home base for the national airline Aer Lingus and the budget airline Ryanair.
