Hotels Shannon Airport

There are several hotels in and around Shannon airport. Within walking distance lies the Park Inn Shannon Airport Hotel. The former Shannon Great Southern Hotel has good rates and is situated at a stone's throw from the airport. The same goes for the Oakwood Arms Hotel. Somewhat further from the airport the Shannon Court Hotel (5 km)and the Shannon Shamrock Hotel Bunratty (7 km) can be found. The latter is situated in the village of Bunratty, just outside Shannon.

Hotels in the centre of Shannon

Shannon is a small town. It is mainly known for its airport and is often used by travellers on their way to Galway. However, the county of Clare is a magnificient region, perfect for hiking and backpacking.

Larger business hotels are located in Limerick and Galway. In and around Shannon, most hotels are part of the DG Hotel Group. Examples include the aforementioned Shamrock hotel in Bunratty, The Woodstock Hotel in Ennis, Two Mile Inn in Limerick and Patrick Punchs Hotel in Limerick.

In the surroundings one can find a few 'lodges' as well, providing B&B accommodation. Bunratty Meadows B&B is a lovely accommodation in a lush, green environment.
