Hotels Helsinki-Vantaa Airport

There are two hotels at Helsinki Airport, the Hilton Helsinki Airport Hotel and the Hotel GLO. Other hotels near the airport are Ramada Hotel Airport, Holiday Inn Garden Court, the Comfort Hotel Pilotti, the Cumulus Airport Hotel, and the budget friendly Bonus Inn.

Hotels in Helsinki city center

The Senate Square forms the heart of Helsinki. Just west of the square there's a cluster of hotels, most of them in the upper price range. There is for example the luxurious Hotel Kämp (next to the posh shopping center by the same name), the design hotel Glo, the Sokos Hotel, the Cumulus Hotel Kaisaniemi and Hotel Arthur. You can also rent luxury apartments, via City Apartments. A cheaper option in this neighborhood is Gasthaus Omapohja (no website).

Helsinki is the city of design and there's therefore no shortage of design hotels. Hotel Klaus K was the first design hotel in town and some claim that it's the only real design hotel. Near the harbor lies the new Haven Hotel. A cheaper option within a stone's throw of the so-called Design District is Hostel Erottajanpuisto.

Eurohostel is the largest (and one of the cheapest) hostel in Helsinki. It's located near the famous Uspenski cathedral. Other cheap options are Hostel Suomenlinna (near the fort by the same name) and the Stadion Hostel in the Olympic Stadium north of the city center.

The self-service hotels of Omena, that have no reception and which can only be booked through the internet are a special option for budget travelers. There are three Omena Hotels in Helsinki.
