Seville (San Pablo) Airport

Seville Airport is an airport especially for domestic flights (almost 80%). But the number of international flights is increasing especially with the arrival of the budget airline Ryanair. The well known and reputable airline, British Airways, also flies out of Seville. In 2014 almost 4 million passengers were processed at the airport. There are improvements being made in the facilities to take care of the growing number of passengers.

The terminal building was opened in 1991 and architect Rafael Moneo put emphasis on the local culture, a mixture of Spanish and Moorish influences. Orange trees are planted in front of the building.

The airport is ten kilometers northeast of Seville, the capital of Andalusia.
