Valladolid Airport (VLL)

The airport is 13 kilometers northwest of Valladolid. Thanks to the arrival of budget airline Ryanair the number of passengers has strongly increased. The airport processes about half a million travelers per year.

Local transport

Train

There is no train connection with the airport.

Car and bus

The airport is along the N-601 (Léon – Valladolid). This road has a sharp hair pin turn at the runway. The exit to the airport is clearly indicated.

There are three bus connections from the airport. The busses from Valladolid to Léon and Madrid stop at the airport, but you must reserve a place on the website in advance. The trip to Madrid takes about two hours and costs approximately € 12.00. The other two bus lines maintain connections with the airport and Valladolid. Car rental Valladolid Airport

In the Arrivals Hall there are counters for the car rental companies Avis, Europcar and Hertz. You can also reserve a rental car in advance using the service EasyTerra provides. They compare the rates of several providers in a single quote.

Taxi

Taxis are outside the terminal (tel +43(0)983 291 411). A ride to Valladolid costs about € 18.00.

Airport Parking

There is a parking area right in front of the terminal with places for 260 cars. The first half hour costs € 0.40, for the second half hour you pay € 0.50 then € 0.75 per hour with a maximum of € 7.75 per day (from the fifth day € 6.20 per day).

Shops and restaurants

The Valladolid Airport is small and has a very limited offering of shops and eating and drinking places. You can find one cafe, one restaurant and a shop with tobacco products, alcohol, newspapers and magazines.

Baggage

You cannot store baggage at this airport. You can go to the information counter for lost and found items.

There is a general information counter in the Central Hall. The Chamber of Commerce in Valladolid is also represented in the Central Hall.

Business

The airport does not offer any business facilities.

Handicapped persons

The terminal is accessible for handicapped persons. There are adapted restrooms, and there are a few parking places reserved for handicapped persons in the parking area.

There are two cash machines. First Aid can be requested through the service counter in the Central Hall.
