The Jerez airport has experienced a considerable growth in the last few years. More than 700,000 travelers used this airport in 2000, and now that number has almost doubled. There are no air bridges from the terminal to the airplane.

Local transport

Train

There is no train connection with the airport.

Car and bus

The airport is eight kilometers northeast of the Jerez along the highway to Sevilla (AP-4). This road leads to the N-346 to the N-IV. This road goes to the airport and further on to Jerez where it becomes the ring road west of the city.

Bus line M-050 goes to Jerez (travel time: half hour) and Cádiz (1 hour and 15 minutes), and bus line M-051 goes to Jerez, El Puerto de Santa María (45 minutes) and Cádiz. A ticket to Jerez costs € 0.85 and to Cádiz € 2.60.

Car rental Jerez de la Frontera Airport

There are four car rental companies in the Arrivals Hall: Avis, Centauro, Europa Car and Europcar. You can also reserve a rental car in advance using the service EasyTerra provides. They compare the rates of several providers in a single quote.

Taxi

Taxis are outside the Arrivals Hall. A ride to Jerez costs about € 11.00 and to Cádiz more than € 40.00.

Airport Parking

There are more than 800 parking places available. Price: 1st half hour € 0.40, 2nd half hour € 0.50, then € 0.90 per half hour. Up to and including the 4th day € 9.00 per day, then € 7.20 per day.

There are no hotels at the airport. Shops and restaurants

The airport has a limited offering of snack bars (2) and shops (also 2). Besides the Aldeasa Duty Free shop there is only one Airport Shop.

Baggage

The general information counter also functions as the counter for lost and found items. You cannot store baggage.

There is a general information counter in the terminal (tel: +34(0)956 150 083). Furthermore, there are several tour operators represented.

Business

There is no VIP Lounge at the airport. You can rent a modest meeting room. Information is available through the general telephone number.

Handicapped persns

The airport is reasonably accessible for handicapped persons. There are wheelchair ramps and there is an adapted restroom. For help getting on and off you can contact your airline company.
