Pescara Airport

Pescara Airport's official name is d'Abruzzo International Airport, after the region where it's located. This small airport is situated near the port city of Pescara on the Adriatic coast and two hours form Rome. In recent years, the airport has grown substantially with the arrival of several low-cost airlines. Abruzzo Airport handles approximately 400,000 passengers, annually.

Local transport

Train

There is no direct train to the airport. Bus 38 runs to Pescara station regularly. From this modern railway station, traveling to other Italian destinations is easy. For example, you can be in Rome in three hours. For more information, please go to the Italian Railways website.

Car and bus

The airport is located approximately 6 kilometers north east of Pescara Center on the Strada Stratale Tiburtina.
