Bordeaux Airport (BOD)
Bordeaux Airport is in Merignac, 12 kilometers west of Bordeaux. There are two terminals (Hall A and Hall B) that are connected to each other by a hallway.
Local transport
Train
There is no train connection with the airport, but the Jet’Bus goes to the main station in Bordeaux.
Car and bus
The airport is easily accessible from the ring road around Bordeaux, exit 11a or 11b, on the west side of the city.
Every 45 minutes a shuttle bus (Jet’Bus) goes from Terminal B to the train station, St. Jean, travel time is 30-40 minutes, a ticket costs €6.00 (free for children aged four and under).
Car rental - Bordeaux Airport
There are seven car rental companies present in the Arrivals Hall: ADA, Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, National/Citer and Sixt. You can also reserve a rental car in advance using the service EasyTerra provides, they compare the rates of several providers in a single quote.
Taxi
Taxis are in front of the Arrivals Hall. A ride to the center of Bordeaux is approximately 30 minutes and costs €25.00–€30.00.
Airport Parking
There are four parking areas at the airport. P0 is the only guarded area and is the closest to the terminal. Also close to the terminal is PR for short-term parking, the first 30 minutes are free of charge. P1 is for short-term parking and P2 is for long-term parking. There are no hotels at the airport but in the immediate vicinity there is: the Comfort Hotel (tel: +33(0)5 5655 9366), Ibis (tel: +33(0)5 5634 1019), Mercure Bordeaux Airport (tel: +33(0)5 5634 7474) and Novotel (tel: +33(0)5 5634 1025). At the information counter in the Arrivals Hall, you can ask about shuttle transportation to these hotels. Shops and restaurants
Bordeaux Airport has a limited range of stores and eating places. There are six bars and two restaurants, one restaurant is the á la carte restaurant, Les Maitres de Chais, which has a view over the airport.

In the Departures Hall of Terminal B, there is a window for lost and found items (tel: +33(0)5 5634 5011).
Information
The information counters in the two terminals (tel: +33(0)5 5634 5050) are the central points where you can ask about the airport, arrival and departure times, hotel accommodation, transportation and tourist sights, etc.
Business
There are fax and copy machines in the Departures Hall of Terminal A. The airport does not have meeting facilities, but they are available in the larger hotels around the airport.
Disabled facilities
There are reserved parking places for the disabled. You can get more information at the intercom by the entrance of the parking lot. A few restrooms and elevators are adapted for the disabled. You can ask for more information at the information counter (tel: +33(0)5 5634 5050). Wheelchairs are only available through the company with which you are flying.
Other services
For medical assistance (First Aid) you can go to the general information counter, this also includes, attending to babies, you must make a reservation in advance (tel: +33(0)5 5692 9784). You can then pick up things at the information counter in Terminal B. The airport has one bank and one money exchange office, you can find ATM's in Terminal B.
