Split Airport

Split Airport is located near the towns Kestala and Resnik on the Adriatic Coast. The Croatians also call the airport Zracna luka Split. It handles more than one million passengers annually. This makes Split Croatia´s second passenger airport. There is one terminal for international and domestic flights.

Local transport

Train

There is no direct train to the airport. A local bus service goes to the Split bus station. The bus station is near the train station. Car and bus

The airport is located about 25 kilometers west of Split and 7 kilometers east of Trogir. To get to the airport you take the main road D1 or the Adriatic coastal road A1 and follow the road signs.

A (yellow) local bus (no. 37) runs between the bus station (outside the center) and the airport every 20 minutes. The fare is HRK 30.00. There is also a special shuttle bus service operated by the Plesoprijevoz bus company (tel. +385(0)021 203 119) from the airport to the center of Split.

Car rental Split Airport

There are several car rental agencies at the arrival hall: Adex, Europcar, Budget, Dollar, Hertz, Uni Rent and Thrifty. You can also book a rental car in advance at EasyTerra, this website compares prices of multiple car rental agencies simultaneously.

Taxi

Taxicabs are available in front of the terminal. A taxi ride to Trogir costs about HRK 80.00. You can book a taxi at tel. +385(0)91 534 1679.

There are a few shops, restaurants and (snack) bars. At the duty-free shop prices are very low.
