Innsbruck Kranebitten Airport (INN)
The Innsbruck Airport is the largest in the west part of Austria (Tyrol). The airport processes many travelers especially in the winter months as it is the entrance point for the winter sport region.
Local transport
Train
There is no train connection with the airport, but a bus goes to the train station in Innsbruck. From this station there are trains that go to places such as Seefeld, St. Anton and Kitzbühel.
Car and bus
The airport is directly along highway A12 that goes south of Innsbruck. The exit to the airport is clearly indicated (Innsbruck West / Flughafen). From Germany (border crossing Mittenwald/Scharnitz) you do not have to pay a toll if you are going to the airport. Then you take the exit to the Bundesstrasse 171 (Völs Kranebitten / Flughafen).
City bus F goes every 15 minutes to the Innsbruck train station. Ticket cost € 1.50.
Car rental Innsbruck Airport
On the ground floor of parking garage 3 you can find counters for the car rental companies Denzeldrive (National/Alamo), Hertz, Avis, Budget, Sixt and Europcar. You can also reserve a rental car in advance using the service EasyTerra provides. They compare the rates of several providers in a single quote.
Taxi
Taxis are in front of the Arrivals Hall which can bring you to the centre of Innsbruck in 10-15 minutes (price: about € 12.00). The airport website has an overview of taxi prices to other destinations.
Airport Parking
There are two parking areas (P1 and P2) and a parking garage. The first 30 minutes are free, and after that you pay € 1.30 per hour with a maximum of € 13.00 for the first day. A week of parking costs € 57.00, and two weeks costs € 90.00.

Shops and restaurants
There are a limited number of snack bars and cafes in the terminal. Of course a real Austrian bakery is not missing. There is an Airport Shop with newspapers, magazines, books and films and a Duty Free Shop.
Baggage
There is a window for lost and found items in the Arrivals Hall. There are also employees of several airlines which can be helpful if you lost something during the flight.
Information
There is a general information counter in the terminal that is also accessible through the general telephone number. Furthermore, you can find several travel agencies in the Arrivals Hall.
Business
The airport has limited facilities for business travelers. There is a VIP Lounge you can reserve through the marketing department (tel: +43(0)512 22525 164). Press conferences are generally held in the restaurant ‘Fliegerstüberl’ (tel: +43(0)512 22525 750).
Handicapped persons
There are places reserved in the parking garage for handicapped persons. Furthermore, there is an elevator for wheelchair users and there are adapted restrooms.

First Aid is provided by Tyrol Air Ambulance (tel: +43(0)512 22422). There is a branch of the Bank für Tirol und Vorarlberg and there are cash machines.
